- How to glue the thin card on a structure with flat sides (a square box for example)?

For the first side, take the exact measurements, transfer them to the thin card, cut out and glue.

Do this for the sides facing each other and then the others.

- How to glue a thin card on a structure with open angles (box with more than 4 sides)?

If your thin card is long enough, it is best to cut a strip that can go all around the structure in order to hide the open angles in which you have slipped a piece of string (see Fold and Glue section).

So cut your strip, mark the card at each angle with the back of the cutter blade, fold then stick on the structure. Cut the ends so that they are edge to edge.

You can also use this technique for very small 4-sided structures.

- How to glue a thin card on an irregularly shaped structure?

Place the structure on the thin card and draw the outlines. Then glue and cut close to the angles.

- How to glue a thin card on a rounded structure?

Measure the part to be covered with
a thin card. Cut a strip a little larger than your measurements. Apply glue on your structure then glue the card by rolling it gently around it without pressing too much to avoid "waves".
Depending on the size of the structure, you can glue it as you progress.

Then cut close to the angles.

If you want to glue a thin card on a round or oval box, trim the ends so they are edge to edge. Above all, do not overlap!
